surges when warm

have 95firebird with LT-1 that has a surge only after the temp gets to 160 its not bad but noticable, when it is cold (below 160) it runs good and the torque converter locks up before the temp gets to 160 and no surge so I dont thik it is in the trans. the fuel pump went out and I thought that might be it but with new fuel pump had same problem. EGR and the control has ben replaced and that didnt help there is no codes and the check engine light has never been on any ideas, I'm stumped
