We drove out there Thursday. The pavement ended and went to gravel then dirt, then sand. That is Booneville for sure. It's a big island.

Any idea what is done at the Eglin AFB communication research center on the island? All of the satellite dishes were pointed straight up. That means they are not looking at geo-stationary satellites. ET? LOL

I got some pictures of F15s out playing when we went through Tyndol AFB. What a job. No fair. Just one ride. That's all I ask.

Hehehehehe... I think one ride in an F-15 would make your f-body seem eternally mundane.

I think we are talking about different things? Cape San Blas is about a couple mile long skinny penninsula that juts out from the mainland, but it isn't an island. At least it wasn't when I was there a couple years ago. The tip of the cape points westward right to Panama City.

Yea your right. It isn't an island. We are talking the same place. There isn't much connecting it though. We stayed on the part that faces south. Very quiet.
