  • Could warped rotors cause vibration at all times?

Can warped front rotors cause a steering wheel shake even though I am not applying the brakes?

Just wondering, I had new tires put on, and my steering wheel shakes now. They are balanced, and I am just wondering if it is the rotors doing it.

I might have to have them roadforce balanced I guess.

    What do you think?

I had a tire tech tell me one time, "I can balance an egg, but it will still roll like an egg." Jack the car up and spin the tire. Watch the surface to see if it moves up and down as it spins. I've had to take a tire back because the tire wasn't true to the beed. It happens.

I agree with Jeff. Look to the tires being out of round or faulty balancing.

as lame as this sounds... if you have directional tires and they put them on backwards, you would have a wobble also
        FYI
