suspension-wise, most anything that can be done to a V8 can be done to a V6. Stiffer springs, shocks, subframe connectors, larger sway bars, polyeurethane bushings, lower control arms, panhard rod, strut tower brace, larger wheels and tires, torque arm, etc.....

If you're concerned mainly with cornering ability, start with larger sway bars, a panhard rod upgrade, and a strut tower brace. Then graduate to subframe connectors (especially if you have t-tops or a convertable) and SLP's Bilstein shocks and springs, or something similar. Then 17" wheels and tires. You'll handle as well or better than any V8.
