  • Lowering Springs

Ive been thinking about lowering the z a bit, and new springs would be nice in the handling department. any one got a specific brand they have used and would reccomend ?? also how much would you reccomend going ? ive heard 2" alot but it seems a little much ... seems too low for this car. mabey im wrong though.

i went with the 1.5 -1.75 inch springs. they look great but i do drag a lot. have to go side ways big time up steep drives etc. makes the car feel really low when you walk up to it. i love it would not change.

I am using Hyperco springs with Bilstein HD shocks. 1.25 inch drop all around. They ride and handle great, but I also have to be carefull with speed bumps and driveways.

Also I have been looking at another option I read about which might work better. Sam Strano recommends Koni SA for the front which when set on the lowest setting will drop it 3/4 of an inch. Then for the back you run 3RD Gen Bilstein HD's, take the rubber spacer out and wrap the top coil in heater hose. This will drop the back 1/2 inch. Supposed to ride and handle great, and get rid of the 4x4 look. Just another option. I am thinking of trying it and selling my setup cause I am tired of scraping on things.
