  • The curse of the three space drive-way.

I like my car but I would like to have another one as a daily driver so I could work on my current vehicle. I was thinking about getting an 86 I-ROC Z28 since that was the year I was borned. I could make a large down payemt and bum the rest from my parents and pay them back in monthly payments. However like the topic saids, their are only 3 spaces in our drive way and their all filled up. I just graduated so I'm still stuck with my folks and their is no chance of me moving out anythme soon. Maybe I can convence my grandma to let me store my car at her place? Oh well, I guess owning a 3rd gen will have to wait til another day.

BTW here were the three I was looking at,

Out of all the above I like the white car the most, but then again I like white cars.

That is pic of the rear of the car from the second link. Anyone know why he has different tail lights then the other two? I find this weird since all the cars are the same model and from the same year.

It looks like he has a blackout panel or something.

It's a blackout panel with the ends removed. I guess he wanted it to look different. Pretty cool, but if the brake lights don't shine through, then I don't think it's legal. Personally, I'd pull it off the car.

Take a close look at the engine in the maroon (3rd) one. It is 88 or newer. I say this because it has a serpentine belt with the A/C on the passenger side. The body appears to be 86 judging by the high mount brake light.

Look at the engines on the other 2.. That is how 86's are supposed to look.

And here is a link to the engine on the white (1st) one. It is correct for 1986

I'd be most interested in the black one at this point. It is low miles, and has the correct IROC rims on it. I always thought the rims defined an IROC. I'd be asking for better pictures to make sure it is cool.

The maroon one is not a IROC. It is a Z28 with a newer TPI engine in it. It could be a 5.7?? Who knows how many miles are on it. It is missing the IROC foglights and rims.
