There was an accident just in the clean-up stages as I passed by on my way to work this morning. I saw a tow-truck go past, and he was carrying a purple GTO. It still had the manufacturer's plates on it, oddly enough... I wonder if it was an LS2 powerplant test mule? Anyway... the car was destroyed. It looked like a high-speed near-frontal head-on collision... The entire left front was crumpled in, windshield shattered, dashboard and everything destroyed. There was now a big hole where there used to be a left front fender, and if someone would have tried to sit in the car, their feet would have dangled out like Fred Flinstone. There was also a fire, as the entire left side was charred and burned to a crisp. With the way that impact looked... I don't know how anyone could have survived... if they did, they are probably in not-so-good condition
