Firstly thank you to all those that have replied to my plea's for help in reference to the above codes ( '93 TransAm LT1 ).
I think that we all now know the #26 is the purge solenoid, but I have discovered that by changing my inop air pump the SES light has gone out.
Therefore I can assume that the #28 fault is the air pump circuit.
I hope this helps anyone with the same problems.
