  • Who wants an LS1 project car? Kevin? Joe?

How about this? It is incredible...

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...483818553&rd=1

And look at the IMMACULATE paint finish on the thing. I am dumbfounded by this... this is amazing. Note the fabric seats and the roll-down windows...

    I am speechless

that would definately make a nice project car... an original V6 with an LS1 swapped in with limited options (not even power windows!) would be a great drag racer. If I had any money, I might get it!

Pretty brave going with no reserve! That is fairly tempting, but I already have my hands full with my projects as it is!

That thing looks immaculate except for the engine bay.

I wonder if I could relocate some money and take this on as a project. Hmmmmmmm. I doubt it I have enough of a car on my hand as of now. But this would be a helluva steal and a good start to any project.

I'd be tempted to sell mine and go with that one. No car payment assuming the price doesn't go up too much, and I could drive it as is until I get the $ to do some serious mods. Wish it was in my area to see personally.

I am confused it says V6, then V8, then he also mentions Z28, no z28 came with roll down windows, is there an AC delete on it?

It is an original V6 car, with no options that had a V8 LS1 with T56 6-speed transplanted into it from a Z28.

Did anybody notice all the screws missing off that one wheel, then the other wheel had them all. I think they're cosmetic, but it's still strange. That loks like a Borla exhaust, or at least a borla muffler on there too. Man, I got no room for another car

$3250 as of now. Damn, if this thing stays below 4K until the last few hours I may not be able to control myself from bidding!

I just noticed that they give the mileage for the old 6 (39K), but they don't mention anything as to how many miles are on the transplanted LS1.

Why do you figure the odometer doesnt work? I'm guessing maybe that something was done incorrectly with the transplant. If all the other guages work, I'm guessing the odometer should work also.

To do the conversion, they would of had to transplant the PCM and engine harness. Wouldnt the dash/cluster harness had plugged right into that?

Well this would be a "project car" guys... don't be TOO critical...

I don't think anyone would buy this for a daily driver when it is this cheap...

who cares how many miles are on the motor when you are probbaly going to do a stroker crank, new rods, pistons, cam, rockers, springs, lifters, heads, valves... it really wouldn't matter

And if something ain't wired right, there is no reason you can't fix it.
