  • LT1 in a first gen?

What would i need to do this? I think id rather put a supercharged LT1 in it than a blown carbeurated. Or would i be better off with the carbeurated? Who would you suggest to build either of the motors. either way i think id want a 383. as long as the motor comes to me assembled i can put the blower or supercharger on. Oh and if i were to go with the SBC carbeurated would a T56 mate up?
    thanks alot

I'm not sure what all you would need, but I know the Lt1/6 speed swap has been done to 1st gens before. I assume you'd need just about everything asscoiated with the engine: wiring harnesses, computers, sensors, just about everthing under the engine bay. If you weren't going to swap in everything, you'd need to make changes to the computer, which would probably be reccomended anyway.
