  • coolant light

Hey guys I could always use your help. I just changed my coolant because the low coolant light came on and I checked it and it was filthy like almost black. I thought it was the head gasket or a crack in the block, the pressure tested out well, so I flushed the coolant like 5 times and now the low coolant light comes on when i warm up. The coolant level is good do i need to do something else or is it just in the computer? Thanks

Very common problem. The low coolant sensor goes bad. Here is a picture of it with the part numbers for your application. http://shbox.com/1/low_coolant.jpg Don't forget to thank Rob for his web site with the great pics and information.
