  • service engine soon

Another problem I've always had with my 95 camaro is that after I floor it and go fast for a while then after I slow down, the service engine soon light will come one. I think it might be the oxygen sensor but I'm not sure. When I took it to the mechanic a few months ago he claimed it needed a new egr valve and he reprogrammed the computer but that didn't fix it. If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it.

I had to have my EGR valve cleaned and the tube flushed. It had a ton of carbon in it. The delaership had some sort of machine to do it. It flushed for about 2 hours. The SES light hasn't come on since.

Thanks I might try that but they put a completely new valve in so I'm not even sure if that's the problem.
