personally i would go with the supercharger, youll get more torque and no lag. Procharger has nice set-ups. Now they have a self contained one so you dont have to tap into your oilpan.

I'm with the super charger as well. I heard there can be a pretty large lag in the turbo, depending on the setup. Just my 2 cents!

I'm going against the grain here. I prefer Turbocharging. The reasons are less parasitic loss, boost is easier to adjust, lag can be engineered out of the picture with proper selection, can be easier on parts if a stick car due to the ability to tune the hit of boost. Either way you go, you will want to lower compression and run studs/arp bolts if you want to run high boost.

          supercharger

thanks for the info i think im going to go w/ the supercharger becaue of instalation reasons and cost. also im not a fan of the lag in the turbo.

A supercharger should make for a cleaner installation, but depending on how much boost you go with, you'll probably want to beef up the bottom end before going nuts, or you'll be beefing it up after you blow it up. I ran a Powerdyne 4.5 for almost 5 years and 40K miles with no problems at all. When you go up to 6 lbs of boost, the piston ringlands can't take the pressure and will break off causing more problems.
