  • How Do You Remove #7 Spark Plug Wire?

I've got a 97 LT1 Z28. I can't figure out how to remove a small bracket that the #7 sparkplug wire runs through so I can replace it. Just for reference, this is on the driver's side, closest to the firewall. How do you remove the bracket? Thanks for your help. D.C.

I'm pretty sure the bracket is held to the bolck by a bolt in the middle. If I remember correctly...

Good Luack and bring lots of band aids...

You will have to remove the nut between 5 and 7 plugs, that is holding the metal shield and only loosen another nut that is on the foreward part of the shield (that mounting hole is slotted in the shield-between 1 and 3 plugs).
