vEt said to 'cut em loose'!! so today.. i took the three out and we played for a long time

this little guys a toughie...for sure! he's the icon of our pack, and Keona loves em with all her heart... did my heart good to see him having fun again!

in the last pic..you can see his shaved legs where they had the iV's and stuff.....

Ken, I'm curious how you name your dogs/wolf dogs. When you rescue them, do they already have a name or do you give them one?

In GRREAT (golden retriever rescue education and training) whom mary works for, the Intake cooridinator names them if they are a stray or were just "found" with no owner info. otherwise...the name stays the same as the owner has given them. pretty much the same in the wolfdog world....only we allow the new owner(s) to name the animal. most of the time though, with wolfdogs, its rare that we find a stray..it 99 pecent owner surrender due to a multitude of reasons, most of which suk...that the irresponsible breeders selling to folks who have no idea what they are taking on.

Keona i got a 5 weeks, she's not a rescue. Reno we got at 8 weeks, he's not a rescue. Shelby we got last Oct., she was 8 yrs old..she was a stray. Mary rescued here and fell in love with her so we fostered her....then adopted her....
