  • Anti-Roll kit

What's everyone's opinion on the benefit's (if worth it) of going from my stock SS 32mm front and 19mm rear sway bars to an Eibach anti-sway kit with 35mm front and 25mm rear swaybars. I'll also be installing the Prokit springs. Are the swaybars worth the cash?

since you plan on lowering the car it is highly recommended that you use the lca relocatoin brackets. it will adjust the lower control arm to the correct height, since the height changed with the new springs.

        Jeff 95 Z28,

          http://www.bmrfabrication.com/F-body...n.htm#swaybars
          32mm front(solid)
          21mm rear(solid)

Keep in mind bigger is not necessarily better. However, I do not know anything about the Eibach kit. There website doesn't say much about them either. http://eibach.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.exe...48200900017414 . Are they solid or hollow bars? What are they made of?

I can vouch for the BMR bars. I got them from http://www.lmperformance.com/ as a kit with SFC and STB. http://www.lmperformance.com/3285/2.html

Spohn is good stuff too. http://www.spohn.net/

I got the BMRs because they were cheaper. I sort of got the STB for free by comparison. I don't think you will go wrong with either BMR or Spohn. Besides, both sponsor our message board. Eibach does not. I support people who support me.

My stock bars are the same size as your BMR's. I bought the Eibachs along with the Prokit springs as a kit and got a good deal. I'm trying to decide if the sway bars are overkill; if they are I'll sell them. Their still new in the box.

Thanks for all the great info.

I think your stock bars are hollow. I think they are the same as the 1LE bars. "This front bar is over 40% more rigid than the popular 1LE swaybar."

They are not overkill but I do not know how good they are or how they compare to anything else. If they are as good as the BMRs you will be very happy with them.

Check out stranoparts.com they have a special hollow 35mm sway bar that's supposed to be real nice also the Suspension Techniques 35mm bar is a good option. I will be purchasing one of these when money alows. For suspension questions ask Sam Strano on his message board at stranoparts.com. He really knows his stuff....Good luck
