  • Fog lights

I have purchased a new fog lamp for my '93 TransAm and I tried to fit it today, but I couldn't.
The problem is that the Chilton book says to take off the front facia underside deflector??????
All I can see is that the nose cone continues rearward into an upward arc to where the radiator is and that it is held on with some sort of clips and the fog light is tucked up behined it.
Is there anyone who can offer some more user (read thicko)friendly instructions?
    Many thanks as always

ya I had the same problem

there are little "body" clips that hold the front on, you access them from the underside, the center of these black clips pulls out (not all the way out as I found out later) then the intire clip can be removed when you get most of them out you can reach up into there and replace the lamps. its easier to do it while the car is in the air for an oil change or its next service
