no headlights

the other day my headlights poped up but wouldnt go down so i checked all the fuses and no problem as far as i could see, the lights would turn on and off but they woulnt flick down automatically, i walked away form the car and when i came back they were down,so i went to leave my gf house last nite and my headlights wont pop up, the motors dont crank, so i know it isnt the gears, because they didnt grind or anything. the lights will turn on but they wont pop up, so i did them manually and then when i turned them off one time they went down but then wouldnt go up and somewtimes they wont even go down, i checked the 3 and 4 fuses which were in the main box under the hood, i couldnt find one in the box inside the car, is they an inline or sumthing, or does anyone have any ideas thank you and sorry its so long of a thread

Sounds like it may be the dash switch. My car did the same thing and it turned out to be a bad switch. and it may be somthing else.

wut do u mean dash switch,the knob itself? beacuse the lights tunr on and my pakring lights come on?>

yes but there is also a switch in the knob to flip up the lights, and they are all seperate electrical systems by the looks of it on the wireing diagram.
Dash switch does:
1) flip up headlights
2) turn on headlights
3) turn on marker lights

may not be in that order.
But im no expert, maybe someone else has a better idea of how it works.
