"The Turbonator is much less expensive and more efficient than any turbocharger, supercharger, blower, or intercooler."

Vortech and Procharger have nothing on this beast........HAHAHAHAHAHA
It looks like one of those little mini fans that people bring to little league games.

Look closer.... its not even a "mini fan".... it has no moving parts. Its a set of "turning vanes" that induces swirl into the intake track. I'm surprised they don't have a picture of the water flowing out of a soda bottle as scientific "proof" that the thing works.

There is absolutely "0" value in this. Some "turbulance" devices might offer a tiny improvement on carbed, or throttle body injected engines, where there is a "wet" intake manifold. But it offers nothing on a dry manifold fuel injected vehicle. In the LT1 for example, it would simply "swirl" the flow in front of the MAF sensor (probably causing an increase in pressure loss, and reduced flow), the swirling air would hit the screen in the MAF sensor and be straightened out..... there goes the "swirl".... eliminated.

OK.... let's put the Turbinator after the MAF.... the "swirl" hits the two throttle bores, and its straightened out.... there goes the swirt.... eliminated. Let's say we could fit it after the throttle body.... the swirling air dumps into the intake manifold "plenum", whose purpose is to eliminate the flow disruptions and still the air so that there is a uniform flow into each of the intake runners as the intake valve opens.

"Swirl" is not your friend, unless you can induce it in air stream that flows past the intake valve, and promote combustion chamber turbulence.... and this ain't the device that will do that.

To make a long story short.... it's a hoax.

the junk they pedal now days is unreal. if you bought all of the fuel saving devices, and installed them all..you'd have to put a warning lable on the back of your car "Warning: this car saves so much fuel beware of spillage from rear".........

There actually is a variation of this that does work. I believe someone was designing this for a mustang. Like I said....a variation, not riggin up. There are actually coils running through the intake that cycle on about every 30 seconds. Not sure of the actual numbers that this put out (probably not much at all).
