    Now, doesn't it just s*#@ that an LS2 F-body isn't coming out next year?

        several folks at gm eluded about this but were under strict orders not to say anything........ guess its out now. look out Ford......... again

          For the 2005 SSR, the Vortec 6000 6.0-liter Gen IV small-block develops 390 hp at 5400 rpm and 405 lb.-ft. of torque at 4400 rpm. The SSR's Vortec 6000 6.0-liter LS2 is backed by a standard Hydra-Matic 4L65-E four-speed automatic transmission, or new for 2005, a Tremec M10 six-speed manual.

          Isnt that what the SSR needed from the begining. Some ballsout performance to go with the styling and to offset the collosal weight.
          How long do you think untill these bad boys are dropped into a 1st-4th gen Camaro??
