Changing A/C Compressor '94 Z28 Help

Can anyone walk me through the easy way to do this? We're looking at changing the compressor on my brother's '94 Z28 and it's looking like it'll be literally an all day job but I can imagine there being an easier way of doing it so if anyone can help.. i'd really appreciate it.

It's not an all day job if you do it from the bottom. Put the car up on ramps or stands and take it out from the underside, it's fairly simple.
