Ajustable lower control arms?
What is the main purpose and which is the best way to set it up lenght wise?

Generally not needed, but could be used for:
Correcting axle position after lowering car (we are talking thousandth's of an inch here)
Correcting for axle not being perpendicular to the axis of the car (thrust angle)
Relocate axle forwards or backwards to accomodate large drag slicks (I used them for 28's).
Contrary to popular opinion, you can not adjust the pinion angle with them on a "torque arm" style suspension.Fred
