alrite i need some opinions

i believe i have an exhaust leak,but i am not sure, before the car is warmed up, when accelerating it sounds raspy, and like a putting kinda exhaust sound, once the car is warmed up, it sounds amazing, could this be either a crack in the mainfold closing when heated, or a gasket? if so is it worth it to fix it, am i loosing power, and should i go ahead and do headers, money is a large issue, but performance and time is too, how much power am i loosing,and wut should i do to tell if it is an exhaust leak?

that could be programming.

you need to start it cold, and get under the hood with a fine spray bottle and squirt and eliminate an exhaust leak on the mainfolds, then work your way under the car and look for the tell tale signs....
