I know that this is probably a dumb question but is it OK to trim a radiator hose to fit? I got a new upper radiator hose a while back but it has never fit right or followed the stock location. So I trimmed about an inch off and now it fits right. So, basically, is it OK to trim a radiator hose if it doesn't fit quite right?

I don't see why there's be any problems. There are universal hoses sold that can be trimmed to fit, so I doubt yours should cause any problems. I'm not a cooling hose expert though.Dave M

if u wanted to be nifty u could just get the steal braided hoses..they last like the life of the car i think so trim once and ur done plus they look nice
