Need to tap your unexhaustible knowledge.
I am rebuilding my 1976 Trans Am and I am about 75% complete.
Working on the motor at this time, I have a crate motor on order and should be arriving in the next couple weeks. It is a rebuilt 400 big block from rebuilt-auto-engines.com. While the motor is in limbo, I figured I would get some ideas about replacing the stock exhaust/header system. These are some of my considerations :
    Hooker Comp headers
    Hedman Full-Tube headers
    Dynomax Blackjack headers
    Summit Performance headers

    Flowmaster American Thunders exhaust
    Summit dual exhaust

    Thanks!
1967 Firebird. Needs a lot of work!
1976 Black Trans Am. 400 bb, auto. 75% restored.
    2001 Black Firebird.
2005 Legend Lime Mustang GT, SLP Axleback Loudmouths

I was very happy with my hookers on my 79.The fit and finish was top notch... I've had blackjack too. Whatever you choose, I would highly recommend ceramic coated. That keeps the underhood temps down, the headers last longer and don't rust out.
