First time I ever did an oil change, I put it on with a wrench. Next time it was stuck bad and wouldn't come off no matter what. This was on a 440 mopar (when i WAS 18), so I unbolted the whole oil pump, which is external, and brought it to a gas station where the mechanic took pity on me and got it off. Of course, I had to listen to a lecture.
