Thanks for the link Kevin...man, they are cheap! By the way, would you know the part number for the exhaust manifold bolts? I'm looking at ARP and can only find:
      p/n ARP-100-1101
description: ARP Header Bolt Kit Small Block Chevy 6 pt. 3/8-16 x 3/4"

Is this correct - and if so, would you know if I would need one or two? Every description/picture of this item is so vague.

The 100-1101's are correct for a hex head bolt, but if you are set on using ARP's, I would use the 100-1201's. They are a 12 point head and provide much beter clearance and easier installation. Summit has them for $14.88.

But if it were me I would use the Stage 8 locking bolts. They are more (about $35) but they will never come loose. Thunder Racing has them: http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...&vid=4&pcid=54

Also I would use a copper exhaust gasket if you weren't already planning on one. They seal much better.

Thanks again Kevin. I'll stick with the 100-1201s because I will be replacing everything soon anyways. It'll be a matter of months til the AS&M mid-length or SLP shorties come on. Just can't get them now because my pockets aren't deep enough to double the budget of this project lol.
