  • BRAND NEW 1969 Camaros!!!

Well, someone finally did it. You can now buy a BRAND NEW 1969 Camaro. You heard me right, not used but brand new. Someone is making them from scratch. $12,000 gets you a complete ragtop body with frame, minus fromt clip. You supply hood, fenders, nose, suspension, paint, interior and driveline.

    $40,000 gets you a copy turn-key. WOW.

They are going to produce Mustang fastbacks next.

Buy yours in early 2005 from CARS - Classic Automotive Restoration Specialists

or go HERE to see them online.

Someone was doing that with 57 chevys for about 10 years or so, I think it's funny.

I saw a show about that on Speedvision or something. They had a 70 Cuda with a new Hemi in it. Was pretty cool, but $40k.....

I was actually watching a show, I believe on discovery channel a while back on how a company in california is taking old G.T. 500 frames, and rebuilding them. They had two versions, i believe a 450 hp base model, and the super snake 650 hp version. They even showed jason giambi drivin one around. It was pretty cool too cuz ford was giving this company new vin numbers for the cars and everything. I'm glad to see that the same is happening for the old camaros. I'd love to eventually see a couple more of these on the road and at cruise nights from time to time . Man, I love my car, but the 69 camaro is a dream car, and my personal favorite camaro. I wish i had 40k

I must be missing something. When I go to the Classic Automotive site I don't see anything about "brand new cars". Can you give a direct link to the proper page on their site?

They haven't put it on their website yet.
I was reading about it in Hot Rod magazine, it is a fairly new development. The "new" cars are all steel and indistinguishable from the originals. Most of the parts are GM licensed rostoration parts and they are working on getting the entire chasis licensed so they can be legally titled as "Chevrolet Camaros".

Only the ragtop is available currently. The hardtop version is up and coming soon. They are working on the stamping for the roof.

In the works still are a Mustang fastback and Cuda convertible. The cool thing about these cars is that you can hack them up and turn them into anything you want without any guilt.

That show with the Mustangs was not building a new car, that was restoring current Mustangs. I didn't catch it all, but why would a restored car need a new VIN? It's just copies of Eleanor, not like an entire new vehicle.

I know what 95Trans Am is talking about, it was on this show called "rides" and their was a 450HP base model g.t 350 and then their was the elenor g.t500 version which had a vortech supercharger with 12lbs of boost or something like that and it was making 750Hp and it was 5speed and everything was beefed up to handle all that power and it also had the same shifter as the gt 500 from gone in 60 seconds, the cars they build look just like the one in the movie, but man im no mustang fan but wow those cars looked sick and the koolest thing was that carol shelby was assigning these cars as factory gt 350's and 500's but in real life they were 6 cylinder project cars that needed alot of help, but now they got a 2nd chance at life lol.
