  • Just ordered the first mod for my ride....

    YES!

(sorry if that's someone on here's pic, I couldn't find a better one!)

I finally hit the "BUY IT NOW" button!

Should be here in 3-5 business days. I can't wait to get it on.. Should wake it up a bit, and add a nice growl. I'm getting a CAI soon too.

    I can't wait!

If I'm not mistaken, that looks like a LoudMouth You'll love the growl it gives. I've had mine on for about 7 mo. now and it never ceases to amaze those that haven't heard it before. Just one note...cops will hear it from a mile away lol Congrats man...and don't forget to get the install kit. Take care.

I heard many people complain the the LM is TOO loud, but I can't say enough good things about mine. I luv it! I gunned it going under a concrete underpass the other nignt and you would have thought the sky was falling. Did I mention I luv it!? Good luck with the install......I couldn't get my stock system off.

Good choice You will love it. It is a bit loud at first but you get used to it and it becomes music everytime you fire up your car. Enjoy!!

Where the heck is the muffler? I didn't realize LMs didn't have a muffler. Not sure how that can even be legal....

I like the SLP 2 on the left. Very nice growl, a sound that can't be beat, IMO. And you can see straight through the muffler so you know it's not restricting airflow much.

If you look at the pic, you'll see a bulge on the I-pipe (at the top). That's the resonator. There is no actual muffler. But, it sounds freakin' niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

i can attest to the sound =) i think i spent about 5 mins drooling over steves ext. note lol and it is quite loud..but only when u really get on it

also inside the car if u just turn on the stereo...doesnt even have to be very loud it will get rid of the drone from the pipes, untill u mash the gas that is

Is a Loud Mouth louder than a cut out. My cut out is welded in right before the turn of the exhaust pipe to the muffler. My car is kinda loud but i want it LOUDER. Any ideas...

I love mine. So does everyone whose heard it? as for being able to turn up the radio to drown it out? I have to have my system blaring to drown it out. 12 hours of highway driving all the time, it gets old, but i still love it!

Not a particular fan of the LM, so not everyone loves it. It is what it says it is-loud.

True. The previous owner of baby's new pipes swapped out the resonator for a Sweet Thunder 3" steel pack. Not as loud as the resonator, but it is still a straight-through shot for the exhaust and no fiberglass or anything, just some steel plates. I love the sound though. Sounds like armageddon when I gun it under and overpass.
