Few 1/4 mile runs with powerdyne supercharger

OK, well my buddy got a supercharger for 1000 bucks. Totaly rebuilt I was wondering if we put it on my car for like 5 WOT runs if anything would completly break. I would just run a 6lb boost. Or the car would need anything computer wise done to run correctly.
