Indexing an opti?

Oh heres the deal. I have been fighting with my 1996 Z28 for 6 weeks or so. Changed the optiu and now it will start but its like its out of time. Ive been told that if the cam pin is in the right hole then it good to go. Well ive fond thats not the case (i think) . I used this site to make sure that the pin is in the right hole but. So i called a DC radio show that taks about car troubles and i was told that the Opti spake it self needs to be indexed? How the Beep do i do that

If you truly lined it up like this, there is nothing more you can do to index it.



Be sure you have all the plug wire on correctly.
