4L60E Trans question

This is for all the guys that have rebuilt their 4L60E-

recently broke the 2-4 band ('95 F-bod) on a full throttle run- the shop that built it confirmed it. 35K on rebuild, shop said nothing looked out of place other than that- fluid looks good (except some band debris).

I was thinking of doing it myself- if its easy to access. Is the 2-4 band accessibe with just the front pump off or am I gonna be pulling out some guts to get to it?

Any help would be appreciated-

I think you have to remove the pump, then the band anchor pin, then the input housing and reverse input housing (drum) together, then the 2-4 band. Pull the drum out by the input shaft after removing the anchor pin that holds the band to the case.
