my Sec/Treas. if driving from Oklahoma tommorow with funds and some food we got donated from Wal Mart. She's stopping in Al. to join forces with another helper and they are going to stay at Lost Wolf and ride out the hurricane. I was going to go to by im on 48 hr notice with FEMA. I cant leave VA or be in anywhere where I cant pack my bags, and get to National Airport to the staging area for deployment to Atlanta for 2 days of training then to Fla. for assitance. (i volunteered to go for those that missed it).
I am going to call Jeff Corwin at Animal Planet and plead for assistance after the storm passes.... why? Because after the storm.. we will need help with capture. some of these furrbutts are gonna get loose. and when it all clears..... somebody will shoot them for sure...or dartem and put em to sleep at a county shelter...... Jeff's been with wolfdogs before...... and i think this might help make the makings for a tv show.....for him.....and save some animals too....
im real busy right now..... non stop letters and phone calls..
its mayhem down in fla.....as some of yall know......

I.T. field is hurting, and I can't seem ta get a decent break these last 5 years. But, I got my puppy to cheer me up. We rescued her from the shelter malnurished, skin and bones, a sickly looking golden ret. at just a few months old. Now she's 4 and healthier than ever. Hope I can help to give someone else, the chance to save a pup in need of rescue and a good home.
