supercharger question

heyi was just looking at some superchargers for my 97 lt1 and i was wondering what amoutn of boost it good to run on a stock engine. i see kits for 4.5 and 6 psi and it says for a stock engine. it's from powerdine and i was wondering if that ius good for a stock application. i ould like to run the 6 psi but i thought i should ask around first thanks alan
