  • fuel pump part number?

    Hi,
my fuel gauge stops working and now whit a few days of vacation
I want to replace that fuel lever sender.
I know the fuel lever and fuel pump come as single unit.
and all i need is the part number and
any recommend source to get it ?

    thanks.

This is the cheapest place I have found for GM parts. http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ I am looking for a part number. My first source didn't have the part number but the price was $230. Ouch.

Best parts vender I have found is Jason Cromer at Sam Taylor Buick...... (877)726-8295

He's way cheaper than the typical online shops. Try him, you'll see.

And let us know. GM parts direct was about 40% of the dealership price.

IMHO I would get the Walbro 340 pump and replace the sending unit...or get one from a junk yard...why replace stock parts with more stock parts ;P

            Just a thought!

I'm with him on this one. The Wabro 340 is a great pump. I have one in my 10 sec Buick GN.

                Walbro 340 pump

                good observation.
but as far I know, I can't get just the sender unit alone.
what kind of mods. requires that pump??

Walbro 340 In Tank Fuel Pumps. The best in the business. This pump is NOT a direct bolt-in. They require minor modifications when installing. At this time, there is no direct replacement performance pump available (LS1 motorsports).

                thanks guys.
