I know this isn't totally NFB, but the question kinda is.
I am using some galvanized steel to fabricate something in my engine compartment (galvanized steel is the only metal I have access to currently). The only thing is that I would like to paint it black so it won't stick out. My problem is that I have no idea how to prep the galvanized steel or let alone use a paint that take the abuse of being in the engine compartment. So my question is: Does anyone here know how to prep and paint galvanized steel that has to withstand underhood car temps.?
Thank you for any suggestions, tips, or advice.
