  • Replacing Catalytic Converters/Adding Flowmaster

I'm just now getting into the Firebird scene, so bear with my limited knowledge. A while ago, my catalytic converters were condemned and I have to get new ones. I'm also wanting to get a flowmaster (nothing too fancy, just something that will add a little rumble). I was wondering, would it be easier/cheaper, to have the Flowmaster put on at the same time the converters were being replaced? Also, if anyone can give me a price range for this, I'd be grateful

high flow cats are between 80-150 each, and a cheap flowmaster is around 275 and it goes up from there. i also thing that your car has the cats as part of the y pipe, fo you may not be able to use a universal high flow cat without having someone modify if possible the stock one, or get a new one. installation should run between $200 and $400 depending on what they have to modify.
