Hmmm...for $750, these would be my options (if I were back to stock)...
Stock: Moroso/SLP/K&N CAI + Borla or Loudmouth catback
or
Not so stock: Comp Cams NSA 7/16" Pro Mag 1.6 RRs, 7/16" studs, CC valve springs, Chromemoly pushrods, GM guideplates, LT4 KM, valve cover gaskets, LT4 composite valve cover gaskets (if you don't want to modify your stock ones)
And if you had a few extra bucks, CC306 cam, new lifters, heavy duty timing chain, etc etc
or
Not so stock: AS&M headers, Random cat
(This may run a bit over the $750 budget)
or
if you are leary about your head gaskets or simply want to take apart the top end of your motor (for whatever reason),
High mileage maintenence: Felpro head gaskets, ARP head bolts, exhaust manifold gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, EGR gasket, then have your heads ported using whatever $$ you have leftover.
Just throwing out ideas here...like he said, all depends on the application. I know I would spend every penny of it94 Black T/A GT, Advanced Induction 355, 3200 stall, built 4L60E, Moser 9", Baer Brakes, Shooting for 11s...
