Hey guys, a guy I know needs some info on his mid 90's 454 1 ton pickup. He wants a muffler to free up some horsepower but he doesn't want one that is real loud. What would be a good muffler that would set a deaper tone but wouldn't be extremely loud? Thanks for any responses

My personal vote would be for a stainless Walker Ultra-flow.

I would vote for the Dunomax super turbo. You can get better flow without excessive noise.

Gibson makes excellent lifetime performacne exhaust systems for many trucks. My son has one on his Sonoma (I know it a 4.3 l 6 popper) soudns good and looks good. Suggest he take a look at Gibson
