Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up and totally worn out, loudly proclaiming......WOW WHAT A RIDE!!!
144 KB, I think that is quite a bit larger than the limit. Can I change the size?
I took em with a camrecorder's still mode, this could be the problem.

1. Open the picture file onto the screen.
2. Press the "Print Screen" button it should say "PrtSc/SysRq"
3. That will "copy" the whole screen.
4. Go to your paint application and "paste" the screen.
5. Now the screen you just saw is pasted on the screen again. Use the cut/crop action in paint and copy only the picture.
6. Create a new paint job and paste the picture. You can now resize it also.
7. Save the pic as a .jpg .jpg tend to be smaller than .bmp
That should get it small enough for an avartar...hope this helps
