I think they are expected by late spring.

Haven't driven one, but I would love to have one. Incredibly nice inside, and I really like its simple, stealth appearance.

      When

Autoshow in Motion was in town this past spring, I test drove the '04.
Wasn't all that impressed with them. Interior was comfortable.
I really hope the '05's have a little bit better zip behind them.

They're coming with the LS2 engine! That should give them a little bit more pep. Not sure if thats an option or standard engine though.

Yep, the '05 GTO is going to be a beast. The LS2 will be making 400 HP off the assembly line! The new Ford GT will have it's hands full once again.

Check out this link. It has some very good info on the '05 GTO straight from GM:

I wonder how long it will take the aftermarket to make a ram-air kit for the new hood?

Kevin, the GTO isn't going to even come CLOSE to the Ford GT.

I think that the new mustang is pretty bad a$$ if you ask me but it just needs more power. I dont really care for the way the 04 GTO looks but the interior is sweet. I just hope they do something with the body of the GTO. to me it still looks like a grand prix

Yeah, I was talking about the Mustang GT and not the Ford GT. Jay was just bustin my balls because he played around with a Ford GT the other day and lost.

MTI is supposed to already have a Ram Air kit avaialble for the GTO.

The new Mustang GT is actually a good bang for the buck. 300 HP for 25K, but I just don't care much for the new design, especially the retro interior and gauges.
