Helping our FL F-Body brothers

After hearing what happened to Joe, I've decided I want to set up a method to help out or brothers (and any sisters too ) that have been hit by the recent onslaught of hurricanes. I am wondering how many of you would be interested in helping along with me. I do have my own PayPal account that could be used as a collection point, but am open to any better ideas. We could always setup a temporary website with the ability to donate $ via Paypal. Joe, or any others affected by the recent hurricanes would just have to setup their own paypal accounts.

This is a great idea and they definitely deserve it, but this could be complicated. We would have to decide on who qualifies, how the funds will be distributed, whether or not to allow f-body.com members to send money to an individual of there choosing or if they are to just send their donation to a central pot of funds. You can see how this could potentially draw in people claiming to have been affected by the hurricane but may just have an alterior motive.

If any one has a solid solution, I would be more than willing to design a website that would allow people to go to and donate money to help.

You raise a very good point Kev. I like the idea of the website. Maybe one or more of the moderators could help with determining who gets the funds that are raised. Now, I know I'm probably wrong on this, but I cannot really recall anyone else on here being hit hard like Joe has. Please PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong, because I would also like to know who else here has and would love to help. Whether we should limit it to F-body members, I think we need more people to help us make that decision. Thanks so much for the help Kev. Lets see if we can get this going to help those who are afflicted.

Most definitely. As I can recall (from what's left of my memory right now lol), most everyone else seemed to fair ok. If anyone else needs help, please let us know A.S.A.P.
