How was the shootout on sunday?

Hey, I just wanted to apologize to all the chicago guys who went up to wisconsin on sunday. I had every intention of going and am still upset that i didnt , but i just got back in to town last night. I spent the past 9 days in indiana taking care of my younger cousins due to the fact that my uncle has cancer, and was at the hospital the whole time. I can say that he took a turn for the better at least though . Anyways i just kinda wanted to hear some feedback on how it was, or if anyone took pictures. Post your times too, I'm curious on how you guys did. Before it gets cold though (like its not already!), I still would be very interested in meeting up with some of you cuz i definitely wanted to see your guys' rides as well. I get home from work at around 6ish everyday, and I'm off on weekends. So post or PM me if any of you chicago guys would be interested in meeting up some time and goin for a cruise or whatever.

It was alright. It was a lot of fun meeting DJ Taso and lt1maro for the first times. I was pissed about my times tho. You can see them in my tread called track times and not happy. And then when i did sub 13.99 passes they told me i couldnt go anymore or they would kick me out. I guess u need a helmet. So i got 4 runs in for 30 bucks. That sucked. But otherwise it was fun. Not as many f-body's and mustangs for a event called a shoot out tho. What u guys think taso, and fabe....

Yeah it was ok, my car is quick but i suck at driving it. You can see my times in a post called First track times. I kinda went there with the mindset that there were gonna be a bunch of power adder mustangs racing n/a camaros. The only mustang i ran up against was cammin pretty hard and i still smack him by a car. It was more like an f-body vs everybody shootout . But other than that it was cool. DJ taso and Purepwrta are really cool guys and it would be cool to kick it again. That chi-town f-body cruise is in two weeks, if you guys wanna go just let me know.

Horrible, I couldn't break 14's. It was my first time at the track with stick. I'm still learning, besides that I had a lot of fun meeting everyone and just hanging out. I got a total of 12 runs, and every run I either bogged or couldn't grip (tires).

The highlight was when we all met up before we left for the track. There were a total of 7 of us (including me). I thought it was pretty cool driving down the streets, taking up one lane, and just seeing a trail of 7 f-body's. A cop started following us too, but he didn't do anything. The highway trip is a different story. You should of seen the look on people's faces as they were passing us. Awsome.

yeah i forgot to mention that part about the e-way it was great. People were shock to see the line of f-bodies. Also i wanna go to the track again because i might order an flp high flow cat and i might get a loudmouth so i wanna see how that works out for me.

Yea the cruise sounds fun. But the financial state im in right now with gas i dont know if i can do it. Gas out in here is $2.35 a gallon!!!! If prices go down at all im down to go. How long is it, where do we cruise too?But yea it was awesome crusin with the 7 fbods. That cop was killin me, he was next to me for like 1 or 2 miles. I had to have my windows down to cuz of the dark tint. I was freezing my nuts off. Hey Fabe what did ur friends run, especially that hawk? I cant believe they told me i need a helmet and not anybody else.

my two ls-1 friends ran cosistant 13.30s (they are those factory freaks everyone talks about). My friend with the firehawk ran a best of 13.60( that run was against me and i ran a 13.50 ) so all in all we did okay.
