  • C6 shutdown?

    Read this on another forum...

If anybody is interested. Just got this from Vette Net:

    Ain't this a shame?

The Corvette Assembly Plant shut down the C6 assembly line at noon today because of problems with the 6-speed manual transmission.

All C6 production is stopped, including cars with automatic transmissions.

The NCM is cancelling scheduled museum deliveries.

There are some on the streets already. I guess they'll be getting recalled soon, though. I just saw one last weekend.

Just saw one on the freeway recently. Too bad he'll never be on the road anytime soon.
