Welp...da time has come folks. We have made up our minds. Mary loves the Envoy...and with our rescue operations we each need our own SUV. She does not drive the Hawk anymore hardly at all..and has no desire to...and it makes no sense for us to have 2 fbods AND 2 SUVs...
The Comp T/A will stay with us...and she can be my co-pilot at events.
We dont expect to sell the Hawk to anyone on these forums, as we all know yall already have awesome f-bodies.... but please let anyone you know that may be looking for a flawless 97 Lt1 powered Firehawk, the last one built in 97..the last LT1 powered Firehawk built! that this is it.........

all kiddin aside... this is one of those "1 in 1000" lt1's that came from the factory "just right". when both our cars were stock... i wouldnt race her... i could tell driving it that i'd loose with the compTA 6 speed. folks that have riddin in the car are very surprised. it still does a strong chirp third too. it squats and hooks unreal. its taken out many stang..old and new...... and also a few cobras got trampled. corners like its on rails. on a dual cat lt1... the extruded manifolds ony provide 4hp less than headers.
for some input from some gm friends of mine that know "true pricing" per model statistics..etc.
At the moment, I could only hope it finds a good home.
That's one desirable car.
Stickier tires and some suspension tweaks cured that.
