Hood painting

In the spring i will be getting my hood repainted because there are a lot of chips on it and it could use a fresh coat of paint. When i go should i get the hood scoop painted red? here is a picture of it. what do you think?

i think it would look good with the red. maybe like a deep blood red. i dont think u should get just a normal red. To many people have that. I think blood red and then get something painted on the side of the scoop in black letters. Like if u have a cool license plate. Cuz when i get my plates they are going to be PURE PWR and i am going to get that painted on the edge of thews6 hood i am getting. Just my 2 cents.

Just keep it clean...I agree with purepower...a deeper red will look good

oh definitely going to be clean, its going to be exactly like that hood... minus the hood pins and i want a different red, thats too maroonish or well not what i want. but keep the votes coming

Definitely keep the red. A deep candy red (or blood red as the others are calling it) will look awesome. Might want to consider repainting the spoiler to match if it doesn't.

ya im getting an ss spoiler for the car thats gunna get painted too. Should i make it go down like a racing stripe over the roof and onto the spoiler and bumped or just on the spoiler

If you're gonna get a new spoiler, I'd say do the whole shebangabang...roof, spoiler, and under the spoiler. Post some pics, cause it looks awesome right now.

Well, if you know who it is, tell them I said nice job with the body, but get better wheels lol . Never was a fan of Konig wheels.

ya i have the ss wheels on my car. I want to eventually get Y2k C5 18" but when time and money meet i can get them.
