  • New wheels on my WS6

Check out these wheels. To make a long story short - I had a crack in one of my wheels and needed at least 1 new one quickly. A friend in the local club had these wheels for sale. I am told they are very rare (I had never seen them in person) = < 200 produced and only in 2000. I like them a lot - but they are definitely love them or hate them. Obviously many did not like them or they would have produced more. What do you guys think?

Replace your stock wheel bro. three spoke type wheels are way out
plus your stock ws6 wheels are killer in my opinion. i would have had some on my ride but i Could never find any.

I had to replace my stock wheels - one was cracked and 2 others had curb damage from a prior owner. I had just purchased some 17" Goodyear GS D3s so I could not upgrade to 18s as I had planned all along. These will just need to hold me out until the GS D3s need replaced.

ummmmm... love them or hate them?

        ... no comment, sorry bro...

I am still a HUGE advocate of a gun metal rim with a chrome lip on a pewter car... that looks killer!

I just think it is cool that even around F-body maniacs few had ever seen them in person. They will fill in nicely until my performance mods are done - then I will upgrade to 18s. I loved the ones I had - was not planning on changing them - but had no choice. I don't like the other WS6 wheel - the standard 5 spoke - and that was all I could find to replace the speedlines - until now. The pix do not show how shiny these wheels are - it was an overcast day - I am really happy with them. But they are certainly not for everyone. I heard everything from "man those look outstanding on your car" to "what were you thinking?"

At first look I thought not bad. The longer I look at them I think they are too much wheel. Way too chunky and boring.

But hey everybody has different taste and as long as you like them, that's all that matters.

I agree. First look was OK, then I quickly began to dislike them. Not my taste.

Those reminded me of my old stock '94 rims.

Those weren't real popular with the public and another wheel was substituted rather quickly. I don't mind them, kinda like the 93 swirl only a little more aggressive. When you feel like selling them, keep me in mind.

                        heck yeah

I think those are referred to as the shredder...I saw them in my Motor Trend December 1999 VOL 51 NO 12

they don't look too bad on a black car...looking at the issue right now.

That style of rim was also in sunfires last year or the year before, but only on GTs or if you special order.
