  • Need Some Opinions...

As you all know, I am knew to the boards and buying a new car. I was debating heavily to get the 02 WS6, but I got a question for yall... Is it worth sticking with my car a little longer and get the new 07 Camaro? By time it comes out I will have enough money to practicaly pay in cash for this thing. Or should I not hope on the 07 Camaro and get an 02 WS6 now?

If I do wait, coming fall of '06 that thing WILL be in my garage.

Btw, thanks alot for ur replies on my other thread about books. I did purchase Modern Automotive Technology. I purchased it the 10th and Amazon says my estimated shipdate is the 21st... 3-5 days is soo BS lol.

EDIT: I hear rumers the 07 Camaro will be FWD... that true?

'07 is a long way away. You could always get a '02 WS6 now and enjoy driving it until the new Camaro comes out. Then sell the WS6 to upgrade to the new Camaro. These cars are a hoot to drive, I would have a hard time being without one. I was saving for a LS1 WS6 but I am glad I bought my '97 T/A that I could afford. Now I'm saving for a LS1 WS6 again 'cause I don't know if I can part with my current T/A.

Anyone have any extra garage space they could spare?

I agree. I couldnt be without a f-body for years. Besides the dealers will probable charge $10,000 over MSRP for the stupid new Camaros when they finally come out. Leave it to GM dealers to over price them so badly nobody buys them. Then they can be shocked when it fails to sell.

Definitely go with the WS6 right now, i guarantee you will not be disappointed . Anyways, like people have stated, its not 100% that they will be back in '07. I also have heard rumors, some on this board too actually from months ago, that the new camaro might not even start out with as much power as the LS1. Why wait for a car that MAY come out in years with possibly less power when you can be driving a bad a$$ WS6 tomorrow
