  • New NHTSA safety tests coming?

Heard about this on the radio yesterday. Basically suggested that NHTSA is going to be testing "cornering safety".

I just caught the end of the discussion, but thought I'd ask about it anyway....seems a little odd if you ask me. The radio program host was joking that manufacturers would have to make vehicle stability control all but standard.

Probably aimed at SUV and TRUCK drivers that don't realize that a center of gravity 3 feet higher than normal affects driving[and thus] cornering stability.

Mom and Pop six pack [ and our friends the lawyers] create a problem where common sense would have avoided it!!!
