Chevy 454 in 81 Firebird??

Hi folks, I'm new to the forums here and have a question....Is it possible (without major firewall mods) to stuff a 454 into a 1981 Firebird? My buddy has the car and the engine.....I say it will work as early 2nd gen Camaros had the optional 396 in some SS models. Any help is greatly appreciated.

not totaly sure, but to avoid any firewall mods, relocate the motor mounts further forward, go with an electric fan, and stuff a radiator as far forward as possible. hardest part i think will be exhaust routing.
